The main difference between Race tires (semi-slicks) and Slicks is traction. Meaning lateral g isn’t improved by much and a combination of Race tires + weight reduction/chassis reinforcement can result in more lateral g than a Slicks build. Slicks allow RWD and FWD to handle more power and greatly improve braking.
TC2 doesn't have a Peel P50 nor a BMW Isetta. TC2's physics are also very wonky. FH4's aren't that much better but slamming bonnet first into a bus should cause your car to stop, not keep its momentum. TC2's map is far better but unfortunately it's worse than TC1's. TC2's cities feel empty.
FH4 feels way too grippy but also is inconsistent in grip, whereas Forza Horizon 5 feels more slippy and smooth. I think that in general, Forza Horizon 4 is better, I just think that how the cars feel in particular is better in Horizon 5. Anybody got any ideas as to why? Or maybe how to make FH4 feel better?
The biggest difference in quality for me was the "Environment texture quality" option, so I've kept everything on the Ultra preset but bumped this one to Extreme.
Forza Horizon 4 was my first game in the series, and I played quite a bit of it. 5 has tons of the same things: a handful of race types scattered across the map, speed/drift/big air zones, houses you can buy, lots of car tuning/customization, wheel spins, etc.

Ofc the game isn't perfect and bugs happen (one very annoying one is every time an Eliminator head-to-head happens the game freezes for a bit sometimes costing me the event) but considering Horizon 4's lifespan I have no doubt most issues will be addressed. But yeah overall H5 is imo better than 4 simply because of QOL improvements and few tweaks.

Forza Horizon 5 is undoubtedly one of the best racing games. It may not have a huge modern city, but it sure makes up for that with its sheer beauty. Taking place in a fictional recreation of Mexico, Horizon 5 takes full advantage of the many highly-detailed biomes the country has on offer, whether that be large twisty mountain roads, dense forests showing off some detailed foliage, old Mexican Imo there is no comparison between Forza and Assetto Corsa. AC is an actual sim (and a fantastic one) with a mind boggling amount of excellent mods. If you enjoy Forza that's fine, but AC isn't even in the same realm. Ones an arcade game designed around a controller, the other is possibly the best simracing game on the market (tho iRacing has
5. Without a doubt. 4 might have more cars, but you have to know that the game has been out for like 3 years and the content will be added in the form of updates in the future.
