TheAlfa Romeo 6C 2500. The Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 was introduced in 1938 and was a development of the earlier Vittorio Jano-drawn 6C 2300 by Jano's successor, Bruno Trevisan. It received a larger, more powerful engine and modern coachwork and would remain in production for fourteen years, ending in 1952 when replaced by the 1900.
Threeversions of the car were developed – the 8C 2900A, which featured a straight two-seater chassis specifically designed for motor racing, and the 8C 2900B, which came in a short wheel base known as the Spider Corsa and a long wheelbase known as the Coupe Touring models.
