I love mount and blade, because you can't die, so that mean you don't need to reload game or start game all over, it's just help keep playing rather than reload game or start new game all over, but now I'm told that your main character die, but not sure about age, I don't like this idea, what happen to great system mount and blade and warband where main character is a immortal?
Because when you fall into a battle involves hundreds of people fighting together, hit the bad guy in front of you hard and prey not be hit is the only thing you can do. Try play cavalry or ranged weapon instead. It gives you better view of the battlefield. Last edited by Silence Suzuka ; Apr 4, 2020 @ 3:39am.
I believe I play on 69% with normal combat and higher campaign difficulty. Am like 1400 days into my first playthrough. Max difficulty, as high battle sizer as I can, but I have quit without saving though, although I don't save scum. It's just for bug/glitch and weird things happening protection.
The way the game works is you would also be able to mitigate some of the difficulty through how you build your character. For example if you took the athletic perk mighty blow and got over 200 hitpoints and the best armor which you could move well with high athletics in a way you would already drastically reduce player damage far beyond 25%

The problem is that the player doesn't really learn much if the difficulty is set too low. I see "normal" as normal, meaning the difficulty on which the game is intended to be played and where it should be balanced. At least the troop-damage should be set to equal. The game doesn't really have a "high" difficulty setting.
