Indiahas formalised the acquisition of 56 Airbus C295 aircraft to replace the Indian Air Force (IAF) legacy AVRO fleet. It is the first ‘Make in India’ aerospace programme in the private sector, involving the full development of a complete industrial ecosystem: from the manufacture to assembly, test and qualification, to delivery and maintenance of the
expectedfor the A319 and A320. The A321’s heavier gear would be expected to have a fee in the order of $170,000. This results in a cost of $6.25 per FH for the A319 and A320 and $7.30 per FH for the A321. The A320 family is powered by two Allied Signal APUs and the Sundstrand/ APIC APS 3200. The original Allied Signal APU was the GTCP 36-280LTsc.
